 WEATHER

Egypt has a warm climate and sunny weather all year round. The average air temperature ranges from +25 to +35°C, and in the summer months, especially in August, it can reach +39°C.

The best time to visit is from April to November, when the temperature is comfortable for beach holidays and excursions.

Winter (December–February): air temperature +20–+25°C, the water can be cool, and strong winds are possible in some regions.

Summer (June–August): the heat reaches its peak, but thanks to the dry climate, it is easier to tolerate than in countries with high humidity.

  WHAT TO EAT

FOOD AND DRINKS

Traditional Egyptian cuisine combines aromatic spices, meat and vegetable dishes, seafood, and beans.

Popular dishes:

- Ful medames – stewed beans with garlic and lemon,

- Kushari – a mixture of pasta, rice, and chickpeas with tomato sauce,

- Shawarma and kebabs – grilled meat dishes,

- Amluq – local fish baked with spices.

Many restaurants serve European cuisine, and hotels operate on an “all-inclusive” basis. It is recommended to drink only bottled water.

 HOTELS

Egyptian resorts offer everything you need for a family vacation: large sandy beaches, gentle entry into the sea, and plenty of entertainment for children. Hotels offer entertainment programs, children's pools, and mini-clubs. The most comfortable time to travel with children is spring and autumn, but you can also vacation here in summer thanks to the dry climate.
